Corey Taylor of Slipknot has written a horror script

Slipknot

As the year (and decade) comes to an end, Kerrang and Rolling Stone have both recently posted new interviews with Corey Taylor of the band Slipknot – and in both of these interviews, Taylor mentioned that he is hoping to get his own horror movie off the ground sometime in the near future.

Speaking with Kerrang, Taylor simply said that among other projects he has been working on,

I wrote a script for a horror movie that I’m really stoked about."

Taylor gave a bit more information to Rolling Stone, telling them that

I’m actually working on a movie right now. I finished a script and I’m aggressively looking for investors and producers."

With fellow musicians like Rob Zombie and Fred Durst making contributions to the genre, I don't think it will be too difficult for Taylor to find investors and producers who are interested in working with him on a horror movie.

I'm not that familiar with Slipknot myself, but I have seen enough of the band that I'm intrigued to see what a horror movie from the mind of Corey Taylor would be like.
