Wes Craven's SCREAM franchise followed Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) as she found herself the target of a variety of different murderers who took on the guise of Ghostface. Although each of the four films also featured a revolving door of victims, there were several characters who managed to survive the events each time, including reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox). However, one thing which Gale almost didn't survive was her horrendous haircut in SCREAM 3.
Seeing as today is Halloween, Courteney Cox took the opportunity to look back on Gale's unfortunate hairdo in a video the actress posted on Instagram. Be sure to stick through to the end.
"The fact that people say 'forever on film,' that is really true and it’s so bad," Cox said while speaking with People earlier this year. "I liked to change her hair every time. I had these bangs and they were cut too short. At that time in my life, I wasn’t the kind of person who would say, ‘You know what? These are too short. We need to get new bangs.'" Happy Halloween, everybody!
