Cowboys & Aliens coming

JoBloJoBlo

DreamWorks and Universal are teaming up to bring the graphic novel COWBOYS & ALIENS to the big screen. Ron Howard and Brian Grazer will produce the film, which the studios are hoping can become the next MEN IN BLACK. The story follows….well, pretty much what you’d expect. Cowboys and aliens. It takes place in the 1800s when a spacecraft crashes in Arizona and rival cowboys and indians team up to stop the aliens. Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (IRON MAN, CHILDREN OF MEN) will write the script based on Malibu’s 2006 comic. This seems like such an obvious premise for a movie, I can’t believe it hasn’t been done before. I mean someone thought about cowboys and zombies so why not aliens? For that matter why not aliens vs. zombies? Versus Michael Myers?
