Creator drops hints about the 2nd half of Unsolved Mysteries season 1

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

If you're like me, you've been binging the new "Unsolved Mysteries" reboot on Netflix. AND – if you're like me you've also been wondering why, oh why is the season only six episodes long. Well, good news folks – according to a Variety interview with showrunner Terry Dunn Meurer, what Netflix put out a few weeks ago are only half of the episodes, with another batch having already been wrapped and due for release later this year! Hurrah!

AND – if encounters with the paranormal are the kind of "Unsolved Mysteries" that keep you up at night, good news – some of those kinds of episodes are coming, with a ghost story in the upcoming batch! Now, I know to some that'll be great news. Everyone loves a good paranormal story, BUT, the creepiest "Unsolved Mysteries" have always, for my money, been the down-to-earth ones. I mean, they don't get creepier than Patrice Endres being killed and then her husband sleeping with her ashes like a teddy bear – all of which he proudly admits to the film crew. EWWWWW.

Anyone else obsessed with the show? And if so, how are you sleeping?
