Cusack is Shopaholic

JoBloJoBlo

Joan Cusack We don’t talk about Joan Cusack enough. She’s ten shades of awesome yet she’s not making headlines (the good kind, not the tabloid cover kind) on a regular basis. With that said, it’s good to be announcing that she and John Goodman have joined Hugh Dancy, Krysten Ritter and Isla Fisher in the Jerry Bruckheimer produced comedy CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC. Based on the Sophie Kinsella novel of the same name, the story follows a woman (Fisher) who has to deal with mounting credit card debt. Cusack and Goodman will play her parents with Ritter and Dancy playing…other people. Look, who cares who they play. What matters here is that The Brucks is producing a goddamn comedy?! If this doesn’t have at least one block-wide explosion or a drunk pirate of some sort, it won’t be a true Brucks production. Cusack’s awesomeness can next be seen alongside brother John in the dramedy WAR INC. and in the dramedy KIT KITTREDGE: AN AMERICAN GIRL.
