What’s a good way to diffuse the gravity of some of the most heinous real life serial killers? Lampoon their character in a funny ass send up, that’s how!

And we can all thank cinematic jack of all trades Ford Austin, who turns to such a subject in a flick called DAHMER VS GACY (on which Ford severed as director/producer).

Penned by Andrew J. Rausch and Chris Watson (ZOMBIEGEDDON, SLAUGHTER PARTY), DAHMER VS GACY uncovers:

A secret government lab that has been trying to create the ultimate killer using the DNA of infamous killers, but there’s one big problem: They’ve escaped! Bloody mayhem stretches across the United States as they go on the ultimate killing spree. Trying to stop the maniacal madness is Ringo, a hick warrior being trained by God, using only a shotgun and a bottle of whiskey. In his road trip to hell, he must first fight off his own demons, not to mention an army of Japanese ninjas! It all leads up to the ultimate showdown!

A full fledged horror/comedy road picture? With characters based on real life serial murderers? Oh hell yeah!

Set for a New Years Eve release (Dec. 31, 2010), the flick stars Ford Austin himself, as well as Art LeFleur, Randal Malone, Ethan Phillips, Harland Williams, Bonnie Aarons, Irwin Keyes, and Elissa Dowling (below).
