Earlier this year, the Prime Video streaming service released the ten episode series Daisy Jones & The Six (watch it HERE), based on the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid – a novel that was partially inspired by the complicated issues Fleetwood Mac band members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks dealt with behind the scenes. It isn’t directly the Fleetwood Mac story, but comparisons are unavoidable. And now Nicks has taken to social media to share what she thought of the Prime series. In short, she loved it!

Developed for television by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, Daisy Jones & The Six has the following synopsis: In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two heat seeking missiles in Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers.

The series stars Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, Josh Whitehouse, Sebastian Chacon, Nabiyah Be, Tom Wright, and Timothy Olyphant.

Here’s what Stevie Nicks had to say about the show: “Just finished watching Daisy Jones & The Six for the second time. In the beginning, it wasn’t really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story. It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story. It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it. Hopefully it will continue…

Sadly, Christine McVie passed away last November.

Nicks joins many fans who are hoping to see Daisy Jones & The Six season 2, even though the full story of the novel was told over the course of the existing ten episodes. Several of the cast members have expressed interest in coming back for another season – and author Reid has said she’s coming up with ideas for a continuation of the story if Prime Video decides they do want more Daisy Jones & The Six.

Here’s hoping the writers and actors strike won’t kill any momentum Daisy Jones & The Six season 2 might have, because I’m among the fans who were left wanting to see even more after watching the ten episodes. Daisy Jones & The Six is a great show, and I’m very glad to hear that Stevie Nicks enjoyed it.

JoBlo’s own Alex Maidy gave Daisy Jones & The Six an 8/10 review that can be read at THIS LINK.
