Alan Ball and company continue to bolster the 4th season of hit vampire-yarn “True Blood,” as Deadline reports Dane DeHaan and Rebecca Wisocky (right) have just been added to an already expanded roster of players. Read on for their respective character arcs…

DeHaan, fresh off completing his first season on “In Treatment” (also on HBO), will play a teen named Timbo, one of the kids Jason (Ryan Kwanten) looks after in Hotshot. This will be a recurring role for DeHaan.

As for Wisocky, she’s poised to make a key guest appearance in the 4th season premiere of the show, playing Queen Mab, described as an elegant beauty who presides over a fantasy land and also has a temper.

And that’s it for now. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least ask what’s up with the names Timbo and Queen Mab? I mean, for cryin’ out loud…is this a Narnia or Potter book or what? This show’s just getting worse and worse, no?
