Daniel Radcliffe looks dashing on the set of The Woman in Black

Yeah, I said he looks dashing, what of it?!

Here’s ole Harry Potter himself hanging out in a damp, creepy-looking tangle of trees and brush on the set of THE WOMAN IN BLACK, Hammer Films’ adaptation of Susan Hill’s ghostly novel. He seems to be channeling Wes Bentley. Actually, the most notable thing about this image is, at first thought the dude net to Radcliffe was a member of the British Royal Guard with his hat on sideways. Hey, they’re in England, it was a legitimate error.

The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.

Ciaran Hinds and Janet McTeer also star in the thriller, which is scheduled for release next year. James Watkins (EDEN LAKE) is directing.
