The news just keeps getting weirder from the WOLFMAN camp, as today we learn that Danny Elfman’s score, which was in the midst of being replaced in November (read about that HERE), is now back in the flick, according to MovieScore Magazine. Universal Pictures confirmed the news that Elfman’s more-orchestral beats will be shoved back into the troubled production, leaving Elfman’s replacement Paul Haslinger out to dry. Hey, everybody should get fired from thie movie at least once – Haslinger, your time has come.

News isn’t all cherry though, regarding this development. Elfman apparenlty won’t have time to personally contribute to the WOLFMAN anymore, as he’s prepping his ALICE IN WONDERLAND score for Tim Burton. Cinemusic.net reports that a “team of composers”, including Conrad Pope (who orchestrated Elfman’s SLEEPY HOLLOW score), will be filling in the pieces in Elfman’s absense. No word on whether or not any of Haslinger’s work will be left in, but my guess is hellllll no.

Only about three more weeks until THE WOLFMAN hits theaters. How many more stories about the behind the scenes mayhem do you think we can fit in?
