HBO has a new comedy series set to launch this summer titled VICE PRINCIPALS. I’ll give you three guesses to figure out what it might be about.
Danny McBride, no stranger to HBO’s comedy sensibilies (see EASTBOUND AND DOWN), is back on the cable network, starring opposite Walton Goggins as two guys who almost run a high school, operating as vice principals in some sort of race/competition/jockeying for a full-blown principal position. As you might be able to tell, they’re not going to play well with each other and it’s going to be outright war between the two as they try to decimate the other.
Awful people doing awful things to each other? Sounds like a recipe for hilarity… and also a reminder to keep an eye on who might be educating your kids at their institutions of learning.
VICE PRINCIPALS premieres on HBO sometime in July.
