While he continues to work on yet another entry in the successful EYE series he created with his brother, it would seem as though Danny Pang is ready to go solo – at least for one effort. The Hong Kong director is about to tackle FAIRY TALE KILLER with actor Ching Wan Lau, according to 24Framespersecond.

In the film, Lau will play a hard nosed cop appointed to investigate a series of puzzling and grisly murders, arranged in such a way as to resemble Fairy Tales. Not sure how that works, exactly. What does the guy do, shove a beanstalk up someone’s ass? (That’s where my mind immediately goes, sue me.)

Hopefully we’ll have more info on this one in the near future.
