Darabont abides law

JoBloJoBlo

Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to watch Frank Darabont’s adaptation of Stephen King’s THE MIST because I’m horrified of insects and to my understanding, that movie features some big f*cking bugs. But I’m still a Darabont backer (THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION is one of my all-timers) so whatever he does will grab my interest. Screen Daily is reporting that Darabont is attached to direct LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, a thriller set to star Gerard Butler as prosecutor who confronts a criminal mastermind who controls an entire city from his prison cell. Darabont, after SHAWSHANK and THE GREEN MILE, seems bent on becoming the go-to director for prison movies.
