THE DARKEST HOUR, from what I’ve seen, could either be an interesting new twist on the alien invasion thriller or just another disappointment in a recent spate of disappointing alien invasion movies. Right now, there’s enough to keep me intrigued, especially the whole aliens/electricity thing. It’s a unique enough visual trick that serves an actual narrative purpose and might be enough to set this apart from the pack…or it could just be a crutch.
Today we have a new motion poster for the film that makes good use of those electrical tendrils our aliens are so fond of. What are you guys thinking of this movie so far? If you need a refresher course, you can check out the trailer here.
