Darren Lynn Bousman drops a few Mother’s Day pics on Mother’s Day

Yesterday was Mother’s Day and we couldn’t help but think how cool would it have been if Darren Lynn Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY was set to be released on the big screen–against IRON MAN 2. Ok, so probably a good idea that it didn’t happen that way; regardless, I think Bousman is on the same page as the rest of us and wants to release the flick ASAP. He wanted to release the trailer for the weekend but wasn’t able to… so he did the next best thing. He released a handful of new stills.

Rebecca De Mornay looks perfect as the crazy mom (a MILF if I ever saw one), and the other images paint a picture at the madness and mayhem that is set to ensue once the shiznit hits the fizan.

The remake goes a bit like this: The sadistic members of a villainous family return to their childhood home to terrorize the new home owners and their guests.

Pretty much the perfect Mother’s Day movie ever. To check out slightly larger versions of all the images, plus hear where MOTHER’S DAY is at (in terms of completion and nearing towards distribution) click HERE. Stick around for more on MOTHER’S DAY as we hear it!
