Darth Stiller?

JoBloJoBlo

If you’ve seen the new TV spot that’s been running for NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN, you’ve noticed a new character that you might not expect in a NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM movie: Darth Vader. What is he doing in the movie? Strangely being the butt of jokes, which I’m surprised Lucasfilm would sign off on (but then again I’m sure they wrote out Lucas a big check so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised). Slashfilm also reports that Oscar the Grouch is in the new movie as well and can be seen in the film’s new trailer (in theaters this weekend with WOLVERINE).

In reality, Darth Vader hasn’t actually been in the Smithsonian since 2003 when the “Star Wars: Magic of Myth” exhibit ended. The original Oscar the Grouch puppet, however, is still on display at the National Museum of American History. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM hits theaters on May 22.
