A little less than a month ago, plump geek defender Kevin Smith admitted to writing the role of Miri in his upcoming heartfelt, porn-based comedy ZACH AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO specifically for Rosario Dawson and mentioned that he’d be “flabbergasted if she didn’t do it.” Well, K-dog, prepare to be flummoxed because Dawson recently told MTV that her commitment to D.J. Caruso’s upcoming film EAGLE EYE will prevent her from starring in Smith’s film. Says the gloriously mixed-race hottie: “It’s going to be a really interesting film [ZACH AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO]. I don’t think I’m going to be a part of it. He wrote it for me, but I’m just signing on to do [EAGLE EYE] and that’s going to be shooting from November to March.” Bummer. The question now is who will he get to replace her? Any thoughts?
