Are you still trying to plan out what you’re going to do for this year’s 420? Well, if you’re in the New York area, you may want to check out the pre-screening of Ambush Entertainment’s DEAD AND BREAKFAST!

The zombie flick will be pre-screening at the Pioneer Theater during the week of April 20th thru the 26th, before it’s official release in L.A. and N.Y. later on in May.

I must have been living under a rock for the last couple of years, because as I checked out the Official Website I found myself gaping at how f*ckin’ cool this movie looks! It’s won all sorts of awards, and has already gotten a butt-load of praise from those who’ve seen it. You can check out The Arrow’s review of the film HERE. And Rue Morgue Magazine named it the “Best Independant Horror Film of the Year” for 2004!

Written and directed by Matthew Leutwyler, and starring a host of familiar faces including KUNG FU badass John Carradine, Jeremy Sisto (WRONG TURN), Gina Philips (JEEPERS CREEPERS), Brent David Fraser, Ever Carradine (JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK), Bianca Lawson (BONES), Oz Perkins (PSYCHO II) and Diedrich Bader (NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE). Holy cow, what a cast!

Check out the synopsis:

Six friends on a road trip stop for the night at a Bed and Breakfast in the sleepy town of Lovelock. After a night that leaves both the Inn’s owner and chef dead, the gang finds themselves under suspicion by the local Sheriff. But that’s only the beginning as nearly all of the town’s quirky residents become possessed by an evil spirit and pin down the friends inside the B&B.

This really gives it no justice. What you need to do is click HERE to check out the website, where you can watch the ultra-violent, awesomely phat trailer for the flick, as well as a sweet hammerin’ clip from the movie. All I have to say is chainsaws, hammers, shotguns… you name it, there’s a little bit for everyone here. Trust me, it’ll be the best 5 minutes you’ll spend all day!

Stay tuned for the official release dates of DEAD AND BREAKFAST as we find out here in the next couple of weeks.
