Dekker Seeks Fame

For me there will always only be one John Connor. Edward Furlong’s career may you rest in peace. Sure Christian Bale can play old John Connor. He’s Batman, he can do whatever he wants. But young John Connor? That my friends, is sacred territory. So Thomas Dekker, who plays the young saviour of the free world in Fox’s “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” has never been a friend of mine. That being said, the kid is clearly serious about this whole showbiz thing, having written, directed and edited his very own feature, entitled WHORE which is due for release and stars Megan Fox.

Now there’s news that Mr. Dekker is in talks to land the lead role in the planned remake of the iconic musical FAME. If he does in fact get this role, I better get used to this kid cause he just may be around for a while.
