Deleted scene from The Avengers features more Harry Dean Stanton

JoBloJoBlo

With the impending release of Joss Whedon’s THE AVENGERS blu-ray next month, you can expect to start seeing more deleted scenes hit the net, much like this one, featuring an extended conversation between Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and the security guard played by none other than Harry Dean Stanton.  It’s nothing explosive, but a nice little character moment between the two.  I can see why it was cut, but it’s always nice to see Stanton lay on some dialogue.

Take a look:

Along with this extended scene, the blu ray disc is set to feature these additional deleted/extended scenes:

– Alternate Opening – Maria Hill Interrogation
– Extended Scene – Loki & Barton Strategize
– Steve Rogers – Man Out of Time
– Nick Fury & World Security Council
– Extended Viaduct Fight – Raw Footage
– Fury & Hill Discuss the World Security Council
– Extended Scene – Banner and Security Guard
– Alternate Ending – Maria Hill Interrogation

THE AVENGERS hits blu ray on September 25, 2012.
