It’s no secret that I’m a huge Tim Burton fan,
and the fact that he’s once again working with Johnny Depp has me all giddy
inside. (Or maybe that was the Indian food I had for lunch?) So I’m glad to be
able to show some of the first images from Burton’s new horror-comedy SWEENY
TODD.
Seen above is Johnny Depp dressed as Sweeny Todd
himself, and while it really doesn’t show Depp doing more than carrying a water
bottle, it is a cool ass costume.
SWEENEY TODD is based on a musical by
Steven
Sondheim, and follows Depp as a man thrown unjustly into jail, only to return as
a barber with a voracious appetite for murder and cannibalism.
Hopefully now that the SWEENY TODD picture
cherry has been popped, we’ll have more to show very soon. But for now I will
leave you with a little something non-SWEENY to keep your appetites at bay.
