Earlier today, my man Moises made you hip to a mysterious flick with the slightly ungainly title 388 ARLETTA AVENUE. All we knew at the time was that it was coming at us from producer Vincenzo Natali and that there seemed to be something of a “found footage” vibe based on the promo poster being propped up at AFM. Well, now thanks to Screen Daily, we’ve got a bit more info…

388 ARLETTA AVENUE is set to star Nick Stahl (MIRRORS 2, TERMINATOR 3) and is being directed by Randall Cole. It is indeed a found footage film, and according to TF1, which just snatched it up for distribution, it’s PARANORMAL ACTIVITY meets REAR WINDOW. Works for me, I suppose, although it doesn’t hurt that Natali is involved; wouldn’t care much at all otherwise.

Shooting on the film begins later this month in Toronto with a 2011 release planned.
