The European Film Market (EFM) is just about to heat up in Berlin, so much like when AFM is going on, you can expect lots of minor updates and newsbites as pictures get financing/distribution/sales deals. One such picture is BLIND ALLEY (CALLEJON), which was announced last year but is just now ready to roll

Written and to be directed by Antonio Trashorras (who co-wrote the fantastic DEVIL’S BACKBONE with Guillermo del Toro), the film will star Ana de Armas (pictured) as a young woman, who — trapped in a laundry during a long, hellish night — attempts to escape from a serial murderer.

Shooting begins in Spain and Colombia on FEBRUARY 14th; a fall bow is being eyed. Barcelona-based Film Factory has acquired international sales rights to the pic, and will shop it around EFM.
