Danny DeVito is making a play for petite blond stunner Kristen Bell. Lucky for all our sanities, however, it’s in a movie. He’s joined Bell in the cast of the upcoming Mark Steven Johnson directed romantic comedy WHEN IN ROME. In it, Bell plays a “love-starved New York curator” who, while traveling through Italy, steals some magic Roman coins and finds herself aggressively pursued by a plethora of suitors, the likes of whom include Will Arnett, Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder, Dax Shepard and, now, DeVito. Anjelica Huston also stars. Production is expected to begin this month in New York. DeVito can next be seen in the comedy NO PLACE LIKE HOME and occasionally in the goofy but rather enjoyable F/X comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”.
