Diamond Dallas Page confirms he’s not in Rob Zombie’s 3 from Hell

The Devil's Rejects Rob Zombie Diamond Dallas Page

In writer/director Rob Zombie's THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, Diamond Dallas Page and Danny Trejo played Billy Ray Snapper and Rondo, bounty hunters who worked together as the Unholy Two. It has been confirmed that Trejo will be reprising the role of Rondo in the sequel 3 FROM HELL, he even has his own character poster, but we haven't heard anything about Page coming back as Billy Ray…

As it turns out, that's because he's not in the new film. Page took to his Twitter account to confirm his absence, saying he talked to Zombie and was informed that "Billy Ray Snapper just didn't fit into the story. Danny Trejo is going to be an Unholy One this time around."

Despite not having a role in the film, Page says he is pumped to see 3 FROM HELL.

There wasn't room for Billy Ray Snapper, but there was room for a whole lot of other characters. The film stars Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, and Sig Haig as their THE DEVIL'S REJECTS / HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES characters Otis, Baby, and Captain Spaulding. Along with Trejo, their supporting cast includes David Ury, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Richard Brake, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Austin Stoker, Emilio Rivera, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Edson, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Clint Howard, and Daniel Roebuck.

The main reason I'm disappointed to hear that Rondo and Billy Ray Snapper won't be seen together again in 3 FROM HELL is because I think they deserve some comeuppance for the homicidal tactics they employed while hunting down Otis, Baby, and Spauling in REJECTS. Judging by his character poster, Rondo might be in prison with the Rejects in the new film, as he would deserve to be. But I hope Billy Ray didn't get away with his crimes.

3 FROM HELL is in post-production, waiting for Zombie to kick off the editing process in September. The film is expected to receive a 2019 release.
