Vin Diesel has been talking about his various interests in comic book movie characters. Of course, we’ve heard that FANTASTIC FOUR will likely be getting a reboot, and as will DAREDEVIL. Is he looking at any of those? Well…
“I would be more apt to play a villain… [I’d like to play] the protagonist of a story that is also like a Marvel villain — like Doctor Doom or something… I have some superhero favorites… I talked to [‘The Surrogates’ director] Jonathan Mostow about ‘Sub-Mariner,’ which could be interesting because of its World War II-New York connection.”
I’m totally down with Diesel in a comic book movie. Shitty movies with extreme action and extreme soundtracks and extreme plots aside, you just can’t beat the dude’s voice or his presence. What do you guys think? Which comic book character do you wanna see him play?
