So who’s seeing SUCKER PUNCH this weekend?

Well if you’re on the fence, maybe the third animated feature inspired by the film will sway your decision one way or the other…

Of course, I can’t see how these shorts – the last two being “The Trenches” and “Dragon,” have much to do with the Zack Snyder’s actual film, but they’re fun to look at nonetheless. Besides, this is the best of the bunch in my humble opinion.

DISTANT PLANET: In Sucker Punch, the girls find themselves on another planet battling a robot militia on a hijacked train. In “Distant Planet” events unfold from the perspective of the robot hijackers leading up to the girls’ arrival. Sometimes those with less have more to fight for…

As you know, SUCKER PUNCH stars Emily Browning, Jenna Malone, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino (below), Jon Hamm and Scott Glenn – and follows a young girl who is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.

SUCKER PUNCH swipes into theaters this Friday!
