Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release date is in July

Last week, it was announced that director Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – read our review HERE, check out a list of Easter eggs HERE – will be reaching the Disney+ streaming service on June 22nd. The film’s digital release is the same day. Now Screen Rant has broken the news that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be receiving its 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release on July 26th! Images of the home video release artwork can be seen at the bottom of this article.

Scripted by Loki head writer Michael Waldron, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has the following synopsis:

In Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Benedict Wong as Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, plus Doctor Strange’s fellow Avenger Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen. Raimi regular Bruce Campbell makes an appearance as well.
