Douglas a Tragic figure

JoBloJoBlo

I love me some Michael Douglas so it kills me to see the guy taking the second banana role in crap comedies like YOU, ME & DUPREE. He’s Michael Douglas for Chrissake! Luckily we get to see the man back in a starring role in the upcoming thriller TRAGIC INDIFFERENCE. Sadly it seems like it could be a ERIN BROCKOVICH-ian courtroom drama about a lawyer (Douglas) who takes a big corporation to court for the little man. The movie is based on the book of the same name, which is based on the true story of Donna Bailey, a Texas woman whose Ford Explorer flipped. Her lawyer (Douglas) won her a huge cash settlement and got Ford executives to visit her in the hospital to personally apologize. But will Douglas sport a giant mustache like this guy? Asked to comment on the casting Douglas said, “I played a lawyer once.” Yes you did, Mike. Very insightful. Douglas can be seen next in THE KING OF CALIFORNIA, which hits theaters later this year.
