CORALINE – July 21st
While we don’t pay much attention to kid’s movies around these parts, a flick from the makers of A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is cause for some talk. Everything I’ve heard about CORALINE has been stellar, it’s 3D (and 2D) is said to be amazing, the animation top-notch, and the story is strong and holds longer than most kids movies can manage. While the single disc cover does nothing for me, the 2 disc special edition is pretty cool and reminiscent of the film’s original theatrical poster. Where can I sign up?!

[REC] – July 14th
The movie that started it all is finally coming to U.S. DVD stores everywhere. While most fans of the genre know that QUARANTINE was based on [REC], most of the American public doesn’t, and gosh-darnit–this cover is gonna set them straight! It echos a little too much like the QUARANTINE cover, but I can still dig it because, let’s face it, [REC] is the original, beeyotch!

NATURE’S GRAVE – August 4th
What the f*ck is this? Seriously, what the jumping crapper is going on here? Is this really the cover for this movie? A movie featuring Jesus Christ himself–this is how he’s treated? This is just f*cking ridiculous. And furthermore, what the hell is this movie about anyway? Nature gone wild? Nature on a murder spree? Jim Caviezel living in a jungle tribe with wolf eyes starring at him in the background? What the f*ck? I can’t even say that I’m intrigued… I’m just pissed off!
