Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release THE CHILD’S EYE on DVD, digital download and on demand on October 11. The cover art can be seen below. Special features on the DVD will include behind-the-scenes cast and crew interviews.

The latest entry in Hong Kong’s THE EYE franchise is once again directed by the Pang Brothers, Oxide and Danny, who are responsible for the original film. The also co-wrote the script with Thomas Pang. It stars Rainie Yang, Elanne Kwong, Lam Ka-tung, Jo Koo, Ciwi Lam, Izz Xu, Rex Ho and Shawn Yue.

A group of friends find themselves stranded in Thailand after unexpected airport closures. The Chung Tai Hotel, an old rundown building, is the only place to reside. As they uncover the history beneath the walls, they’re slowly drawn into its horrific past. The more sinister, unusual things they discover, the more their minds and bodies are taken over by the hotel’s permanent residents, making it harder to get out alive.

Jessica Alba starred in the U.S. remake of THE EYE
