DVD Release dates

This week’s DVD
COVERS & RELEASE DATE update includes a
bunch of the big summer movies, all marking their territory for
the even bigger Christmas DVD buying season, and that
includes a SPIDER-MAN
TRILOGY set priced at only $25.99 (okay, it’s ONLY the movies,
but still!). I won’t be buying that one, but my money’s already
down on the BLADE
RUNNER 5-DISC ULTIMATE COLLECTOR’S EDITION (I hear Sean Young
actually shows up at your house for the delivery and a possible
handjob) and the STANLEY
KUBRICK COLLECTION, which has made me as excited as a little
girl.

There are also a ton
of horror releases including the unpopular HOSTEL 2 and CAPTIVITY
from this past summer, as well as THE TRIPPER, 1408, DAYWATCH, MR.
BROOKS (cool cover!) and a Director’s Cut of HOLLOW MAN?? (I’m
actually one of the few people in the world who thought the
original version was "decent", so I can’t wait to see
