Dwayne Johnson to host Saturday Night Live for the fourth time on March 28

Set your schedules accordingly folks, Dwayne “franchise-savior” Johnson will be hosting Saturday Night Live for the fourth time on March 28 with musical guest George Erza. The actor took to Twitter to announce the news himself:

The path Dwayne Johnson's career has taken still amazes me; this is the guy they bring in to SAVE failing franchises now. If you said that fifteen years ago you would have been laughed out of your house and gotten the people's elbow out on the front lawn. The neighbours would have come out to watch and the whole thing would have just been embarrassing. Not to mention you were probably wearing your Simpsons boxer shorts with that awkward rip in the front. Agnes, the old lady next door, would shuffle outside to find out what all the commotion was and wind up with an eyeful of your dangly bits. She probably wouldn't hire you to mow her lawn anymore; or maybe she would. Wink.

What was I saying? Oh yes, Dwayne Johnson will be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 28. Those of you itching to see him on the big screen will have to wait until SAN ANDREAS hits theaters on May 29*

*Obviously I misread my release dates because he'll be showing up first in FURIOUS 7 on April 3
