Elizabeth Olsen hears awfully creepy shite in new Silent House clip

My guess is Elizabeth Olsen’s star will dim just a tad with next week’s release of SILENT HOUSE, the American remake of an Uruguayan chiller. To be fair, after turning heads with her work in MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE, her stock can only go down…at least in the short-term. From everything I’ve heard, SILENT HOUSE is no MARCY MAY, but thankfully for Olsen, she has a number of projects – in and out of genre – to retain the luster in the years to come. But first, it’s SILENT HOUSE time…

As such, we have a new clip from the flick for you to check out below. It features more of the same…that is, Elizabeth looking bewildered, ambling around her foreboding abode in an aimless stupor. When she think she’s hears something upstairs, does she leave the premises or vet with caution? I’m sure you can guess, but the answer lies beneath!

Due next Friday:

From the directors of the hit film “Open Water,” SILENT HOUSE is a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.
