If Bradley Cooper's A STAR IS BORN didn't quite fill the "young up-and-coming singer finds fame" portion of your movie-watching heart, well, TEEN SPIRIT might just be the ticket. Written and directed by Max Minghella, the upcoming film stars Elle Fanning as Violet, a shy teenager who dreams of escaping her small town and pursuing her passion to sing. Get in line. With the help of an unlikely mentor, she enters a local singing competition which will test her integrity, talent, and ambition.

Described as a "visceral and stylish spin on the Cinderelle story," TEEN SPIRIT will be driven by a pop-fueled soundtrack featuring performances of and music written by Robyn, Ellie Goulding, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Tegan & Sara, Jack Antonoff, Carly Rae Jepsen, Annie Lennox, Orbital, Alice DeeJay, The Undertones, Major Lazer, Grimes, Whitfield, and Sigrid.
