Elton John is the subject of clip from Come to Daddy, starring Elijah Wood

Director Ant Timpson's upcoming "darkly comedic thriller" COME TO DADDY is a film that's being promoted with pure awkwardness. The first clip we saw from the movie involved a strange-but-amusing interaction between characters played by Elijah Wood and Stephen McHattie in which McHattie tried to get Wood to tell him fight stories. Now we've gotten our hands on another clip from the movie, and this one also centers on an awkward interaction between Wood and McHattie. You can see it embedded above.

This time the subject they're discussing isn't fights, but the man who told us "Saturday night's alright for fighting", Elton John.

Scripted by Toby Harvard, COME TO DADDY drops Wood into the role of

Norval Greenwood, a a privileged man-child who arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father only to discover his dad's shady past that is rushing to catch up with both of them.

Wood and McHattie are joined in the cast by Martin Donovan, Michael Smiley, Madeleine Sami, and Simon Chin.

The film was produced by Harvard, Mette-Marie Kongsved, Laura Tunstall, Daniel Bekerman, Katie Holly, and Emma Slade. Timpson executive produced with Tim Headington, Lia Buman, and Hussain Amarshi. Alex Ordanis and Jacqueline Nguyen are co-producers.

COME TO DADDY is set to receive a limited theatrical release on February 7th, and will also be arriving on Digital and VOD that same day.
