In promotion of the upcoming release of his fifth studio album, Eminem decided to become the Punisher for the cover and inside spread of an upcoming issue of XXL magazine. It’s unclear how dressing up as an irascible vigilante superhero promotes a music album but that’s just the way Slim Shady does shit. Maybe it has something to do with the name of the album – Relapse. Does he want the Punisher to relapse into a decent film and not the silly garbage we’ve been subjected to with Dolph Lundgren before and Ray Stevenson now (the Thomas Jane one was just plain and forgettable)? In any case, if you ever wanted to see Shady as a superhero, here you go. Click on that big skull on his chest to check out the rest of the spread.
