Well, what else is she gonna say?!?
Chatting with MTV, SCREAM 4 star Emma Roberts – who plays Jill Kessler in the movie, younger cousin of Neve Campbell’s Sydney Prescott – had some quite boastful things to say about Wes Craven’s 4th trip to Woodsboro. Of course, divulging too much info would result in “being killed,” as Roberts put it, but she did offer a few encouraging thoughts. Check it…
First off, when asked about the status of SCREAM 4, Roberts said she had “one more week.” Not sure if the entire production will wrap by then, or just her part. Either way, she followed that remark with quite a declaration:
“I think it’s gonna be really fun. I think it’s going to be the best one yet (SCREAM movie), dare I say.”
Not so hard to edge out SCREAM 2 and 3, but the original? Good luck with that one, Emma!
Roberts continued:
“It’s amazing — they have the original cast with Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Neve Campbell, and then we have this whole new young cast we’re introducing,” she explained. “Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin — who I’ve done two movies with, which is great — and Wes Craven is directing this one, and he’s just one of the coolest people I’ve ever met.”
That all, Emma? You can’t offer any other juicy deets?
“This is the kind of thing where I’ll be murdered if I say anything else,” she laughed. “If you say anything to anyone … they’ll send the ‘Scream’ guy to your house to kill you, so if he’s outside of my door, I know I’m in trouble!”
Ah, so cute. If you wanna see Ms. Roberts in the flesh, check out the full interview HERE.
