Today we’ve got our best look yet at A&E’s new horror series “Bates Motel,” as a new first look video – which is a combination trailer and featurette – has debuted. “Bates Motel” will give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates’ psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn firsthand how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.

The series launches in March with the pilot episode titled “First You Dream, Then You Die.” “Bates Motel” stars Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogel.
