Get your sitting pants on because you’re about to take a seat!

Bill Oberst, Jr., Eric Roberts, Derrick Damions, Jacob Banser, Naomi Grossman, Susan Eisenberg and Timothy Muskatell have all agreed to join THE CHAIR, an adaptation of the Alterna Comic book from director Chad Ferrin.

Here’s the comic’s synopsis:

Richard Sullivan is an innocent man struggling to escape his fate on Death Row. Witnessing the brutal torture and murder of his fellow inmates, will he find a way to survive, or will the insane events of the prison finally consume him? Everything is not what it seems, and sanity is such an easy thing to lose.

The screenplay was written by Erin Kohut and Peter Simeti.

No word yet on when we might see THE CHAIR but we’ll keep you posted.
