Eva & more are Women

JoBloJoBlo

A veritable cornacopia of hot babes past and present have signed on to star in the upcoming Diane English dramedy THE WOMEN. Surely a movie that will be used by girlfriends and wives to torture their significant others. The film, a remake of the 1939 film, follows a catty group of female friends and how they deal with the news that the most envied among them has a cheating husband. Eva Mendes, Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Jada Pinkett Smith, Debra Messing and Candice Bergen will star in the film for writer/director Diane English. One would assume that Ryan, Bening and Bergen will play the three elder friends while Mendes would play the husband-stealing hussy. Taking product placement to a new level, the film will be co-financed by soap brand Dove and parent company Unilever. So expect the ladies to be drinking Lipton, cooking with Bertolli pasta and moisturizing with Ponds. If you need this project to get any more bizarre, it’s being produced by Mick Jagger. Yes, the Mick Jagger. Filming on THE WOMEN is expected to begin on August 6.
