Thank the Lord above for Eva Mendes news so I can post the picture to the right. I’ve been holding onto that one for a while just waiting for the right time… Today we have word that Mendes will star in the upcoming thriller CURVE for producer Neal Moritz (STEALTH). In the movie, Mendes will star as a woman on the run from a psychopath after getting lost in a “remote area outside New York City.” Boy I’ve heard of an anti-New Jersey bias but a remote area filled with psychopaths lusting after Eva Mendes? OK, maybe it’s not too far off… Mandate is currently shopping the pic at Cannes where Mendes is in town promoting WE OWN THE NIGHT with Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlberg. Mendes is currently filming another thriller CLEANER with Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris.
