Exclusive Raw clip paints a nasty portrait of cannibalism

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to eat someone? Neither have I (*wink wink*), but with the new movie RAW we won’t have to imagine anymore. The closest we usually come to seeing people eat other people is in zombie flicks, but this movie from Julia Ducournau will paint a portrait of a girl who becomes a cannibal in as realistic a light as humanly possible, to the point where people were fainting from the realistic grotesqueness (a.k.a. awesomeness). To get you prepared for the experience we have an exclusive clip from the movie that doesn’t shy away from a bit of blood, and also proves that, yes, my usage of the word “paint” was a total intentional pun.

Check it out below!

RAW can be added to the list of small films that film buffs will have to check out this year, not only to see how far it really goes, but because it actually looks like a really good movie. The critics love too, and though the movie is French there’s a chance the word-of-mouth could get it spread in a bunch of places over here. I just hope this doesn’t spawn a fad of cannibalistic habits. I quite like my lips the way they are. Oh, who am I kidding, no I don’t .

RAW is out March 10.
