The name Ansel Elgort may not be a familiar one, but that is soon going to change. While the young actor has only a few credits to his name with CARRIE being the only one released, he is sure to make waves with THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. In the film he stars alongside the lovely Shailene Woodley playing her love interest. And in the upcoming DIVERGENT, he once again stars opposite Ms. Woodley as her brother, ‘Caleb Prior.’
It was refreshing sitting down opposite Ansel as he is very new to the whole wide world of junkets. Yet he was bright and energetic and a pleasure to chat with. We discussed playing two characters with the same co-star. He also talked about his approach to the craft and what he likes to bring to the table in terms of his performance. Ansel is a terrific fellow and it’s a safe bet we’ll be seeing his name quite a bit in the near future. DIVERGENT opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
