There is no denying the cast of THE MONUMENTS MEN is an impressive one. With George Clooney, Matt Damon, Jean Dujardin, Bill Murray, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett, it’s hard not to be excited. Add to that the incredibly talented John Goodman and Bob Balaban and you have yourself one hell of a great cast for this story of a ragtag team trying to protect great art from the Nazis.
When I sat down recently with both Goodman and Balaban, we talked about this impressive ensemble. One thing I questioned was the amount of knowledge they needed to have going in. Was there a boot-camp of sorts for learning about the art as well as the physicality needed for the roles? They talked about this as well as how we are still finding the missing art from so many years ago.
