Terrence Howard is one hell of a talented actor. Looking back on his film career he shined in the original IRON MAN as well as HUSTLE & FLOW, and can also be seen in the upcoming THE COMPANY YOU KEEP opposite Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf. In his latest film DEAD MAN DOWN, he plays Alphonse Hoyt, a villain with a very dark past. Howard gives this character life and works especially well opposite the film’s leading man Colin Farrell.

Sitting down with the actor I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got was a very cool actor who was easy and open talking about his work. He spoke about working with Farrell in HART’S WAR and how his view of his career has changed in those thirteen years. The actor is an incredible talent and it was not only a pleasure seeing his terrific performance in the new film directed by Niels Arden Oplev (THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO) but it was fantastic meeting him as well.

We [Colin Farrell and Howard] did a film about thirteen years ago called HART’S WAR when we were both young and full of testosterone.
