Rob Zombie is a busy guy. Not only is his new film THE LORDS OF SALEM casting its spell in theatres this Friday, he has a few other projects in the works. The musician/director has recently released a book based on the original screenplay of the feature also entitled THE LORDS OF SALEM. And for all his music fans, his new record “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor” will be available on Tuesday, April 23.
During the second half of our two part interview we discussed the album and book as well (you can check out part one of the interview here). He talked about working on all three projects together and why he made that creative decision. And of course whether or not there was more to the story of Margaret Morgan and a sequel to THE LORDS OF SALEM. As a fan of his music and his live shows, I have to say that this is his best album in quite awhile. In his first release on his new record label Zodiac Swan, through T-Boy Records/Ume, he brings much of what made White Zombie so memorable as well as some his best solo material in years.
For all you Rob Zombie fans, we have a lot to be thankful for in 2013. Check out THE LORDS OF SALEM hitting theatres this Friday, a new album next Tuesday and his novel available at bookstores now.
