Exclusive 1:1 Interview with Now You See Me star Morgan Freeman!

A day before the junket for the new magic flick NOW YOU SEE ME, I found out that I would be interviewing Morgan Freeman on Skype. While the junket was held in New Orleans, he was back in Los Angeles. I’ve never spoken to this phenomenal actor before and to be honest, I was a bit terrified. Oftentimes doing an interview via Skype or anything of that nature doesn’t feel all that personal, yet I didn’t care at all, I was thrilled I’d have the chance to chat with him. Somehow I thought this incredible talent would be much more serious and possibly intimidating.

As I stepped in front of the camera on the day of the junket, this brilliant man quickly greeted me. He asked me to show him the back of my Mohawk and he genuinely seemed to dig it – he did however make the suggestion to grow it long in back. Clearly all my fears were put at ease as he made this one of my most memorable interviews to date. One of the many things that make this talent so amazing is how personable he is. With not an ounce of conceit he is simply a fan of movies and loves his work. To hear this great actor “geek out” over Michael Caine is beyond words. And of course, watching the two actors go head-to-head on-screen is as good as it gets. NOW YOU SEE ME opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
