Exclusive 1:1 Interview with Oldboy actress Elizabeth Olsen!

JoBloJoBlo

Elizabeth Olsen tackles a fairly tricky role in OLDBOY. Like the bulk of the film, it’s best left shrouded in mystery, but she’s asked to hit a wide range of emotions, which she does effortlessly. No surprise considering how impressive the actress has been in the short time we’ve all been familiar with her: MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE, SILENT HOUSE, KILL YOUR DARLINGS have all given the arthouse world a peek at Olsen’s talents, and now OLDBOY should introduce her to a much wider audience.

But will the masses be prepared for the bizarre turns that occur in the Spike Lee-directed film? That’s one of the question I had for Ms. Olsen in our chat; we also touch upon her character’s sordid past, and manage to squeeze in a little GODZILLA chatter. (Because she’s in GODZILLA.)
