In what is sure to be one of the funniest films of the year, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill and Danny McBride all play themselves facing what appears to be the apocalypse. THIS IS THE END is a clever send-up of a disaster movie with one of the most exciting collection of cameos ever put into one film. Directed by Rogen and pal Evan Goldberg, there is a real sense of fun and anarchy in this end of the world saga with tons of humor. Who knew The Rapture could be so damn hilarious?
Recently, I had the chance to sit down with Rogen, Robinson and Baruchel and talk about their latest. Immediately we began to chat about the wildly eclectic soundtrack featuring Backstreet Boys, Whitney Houston and Snoop Dogg (along with Robinson). We discussed how important it was to have Craig Robinson close-ups and even doing this sort of comedy with a ton of special effects.
